Ella Kate turned 2 last Friday, and I am still holding back the tears... well, a few actually fell, but I am dealing! No offense to my other, very spunky offspring (Jack, I have no doubts that you WILL make an impact on this world!), but she has been a dream baby. We celebrated at Chick Fil A of course, and later opened family gifts at home.

The "new bi"Some of the latest Ella-isms:
- Many words start with an H... Ha-hun (Jackson), hoo (shoe), hide (outside), highs (fries)... you get the point!
- Obsessed with accessories: shoes especially, jewelry, makeup, hats, etc.
- Loves to dump containers or purses of things out on the floor, just to put them back in one by one, over and over again.
- We think she may be a mermaid... her love of water is nerve-racking for the parentals.
- All hair accessories are called a "bow".
- She loves to sit on the potty, never produce a drop of anything, and then wipe herself, and flush.
- Loves to play trucks, read and rock, dance, run, swim, scream, ride bikes, color, sing, close doors, jump, swing, and waller on the floor.
- Has extreme Stranger Danger... especially to men... and we hope she keeps this up.
- Everytime she sees a star shape, she points and says "up a high"... you know, like the song?!?

Like I always say, you can comfort her as a teenager, when she "hates" her mom! And feel free to take her shopping when her tastes become really expensive!
This is a great post--Ella is so precious! (And we had a GREAT time with the wild one today--thanks for letting us borrow him!)
